Specialty Services

With a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind and body, I am committed to provide a holistic approach to psychotherapy. I specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy, an approach that delves into the underlying causes of emotional struggles and behavioral patterns. Through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, I will help you gain insight into unconscious processes and explore unresolved conflicts, while fostering personal growth and lasting change with a combination of talk therapy, bodywork (somatic experiencing), and creative expression.

In addition to psychodynamic therapy, I am trained in other specialized therapeutic modalities as listed below, these are tools that allow me to adapt my approach to meet your specific goals. Together, we will embark on a transformative journey towards healing, self-discovery, and a more fulfilling life.

EMDR

(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based psychotherapy technique that helps individuals identify and process the effects of past experiences in a safe and effective way. During an EMDR session, the therapist uses bilateral stimulation such as eye movements or tapping to help the patient reprocess the traumatic memories, allowing for healing and resolution.

EX/RP

(Exposure and Response Prevention)

EX/RP is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people manage anxiety-related disorders. Through this approach, individuals learn to confront their fears in a safe and supportive environment and develop strategies to respond to anxious thoughts and feelings without resorting to maladaptive behaviors. EX/RP can help people gain control of their anxiety and lead more meaningful, productive lives. It is especially effective in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder.

DBT

(Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

DBT is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps individuals manage difficult emotions and improve relationships. DBT focuses on providing skills for regulating emotions, improving self-worth, building better interpersonal relationships, and creating a "life worth living for."

KAP

(Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy)

KAP is an innovative, evidence-based treatment that combines the power of psychotherapy with the therapeutic effects of ketamine to create profound breakthroughs in healing and self-discovery. This treatment has been shown to be able to effectively address depression, anxiety, PTSD, existential distress, and can be used to explore unconscious material and deeper layers of your psyche in ways that traditional therapy might not reach. I work with a medical doctor to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can access this transformative therapy.
