Current availabilities:

I have availability for individual and couple's counseling at the Rittenhouse location:

1845 Walnut Street, Suite 2323

Philadelphia, PA 19103

I am also providing services using secure telemedicine videoconferencing platforms for those who wishes to remain virtual.

I do not have a formal sliding scale, but will consider reducing my rates in special circumstances.

Starting therapy can be stressful. I make things as easy and straightforward as possible for us to get started. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to briefly discuss your reasons for seeking counseling and how I may be able to help. The first 2-3 sessions will be set up for us to get to know each other more formally, and see if you feel comfortable working with me. If either of us should feel we are not a good match, I will try to help to find you an appropriate referral who fits your needs.

Welcome to my website!

I work with individuals and families to reach their goals in achieving wellness and success. I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania with 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds across various settings, including community mental health, schools, and outpatient clinics.

My style is described as attentive, open, creative, warm, and flexible mixed with a good sense of humor. I see you as the unique and complex person as you are, and I work with you as partners and co-creators to connect you to deep sense of healing, understanding, clarity, personal growth, peace, and fulfillment. I can help you build a healthy relationship with yourself and others. I listen to you without assumptions, judgement, or an agenda, and we will carefully work with your experiences that need healing or understanding, with the ultimate goal of improving your overall quality of life and achieving your full potential.

Outside of therapy sessions, I enjoy drawing, painting, and making music. Benefiting from my experience as a musician and an artist, I listen beyond words and look beyond appearances to understand and connect with your inner voice and world.

I tend to address issues in their systems, not in isolation. I seek to discover the root of the problem, not simply address the symptoms on the surface, but to produce long-lasting positive changes.

My areas of expertise include trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions and stress, identity exploration, self-esteem, ADHD, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships, international student mental health, and cultural adjustment/acculturation issues. I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

I am especially skilled in psychodynamic, existential therapy, DBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, ACT, BSFT, and creative arts. I provide therapy to adults and adolescents ages 16 to 80.
