Hello! I am a counseling intern working with Amelie while completing my Master’s degree at Jefferson University. I work with individuals 18 and up and practice cross-cultural awareness for the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities.

My utmost priority is to establish a therapeutic relationship based in trust, authenticity, and compassion without any bias or judgment. Regardless of what brings you into therapy, I am ready to sit with you during your most difficult moments and listen to your story. I will work collaboratively with you and provide the support you need to achieve your therapeutic goals. You will be invited to explore deeper, perhaps unknown aspects of yourself while I serve as an objective guide. Together we will identify your unique strengths and struggles in order to determine the best course of action to take for your healing journey.

I specialize in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, and other trauma-related conditions and approach all mental health concerns through a trauma-informed lens. However, you do not need to have a trauma history to work with me; I can also support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, general life stressors, and the psychological impact of COVID-19. I work largely within a psychodynamic framework which emphasizes both the conscious and unconscious elements of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My perspective is relational and attachment-based, meaning that I recognize the significant roles that interpersonal relationships play in our lives and our psychological well-being. That being said, I will also incorporate elements of mindfulness-based therapies, CBT, psychoeducation, and humanistic therapies in order to tailor the treatment to each client.

I understand that reaching out for help is difficult, and I commend you for taking the first step. I also understand that finding the right therapist can be a challenge. In that light, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation during which you may ask any questions you may have, explain your specific needs, and determine whether you'd like to work with me.

Please call 215-839-8729 to schedule your 20-minutes free consultation. You can also fill out the form below to request more information and request an appointment.
